Ahh, good ol' Antoine. The android who thinks he's a human. You can read a quick synap here. He's special in that even though he is a rudimentary robot prototype, his cybernetic brain has the slightly controversial Emotional Response chip (or E.R. chip), and for some odd reason, when he was activated, he believed himself to be a human... even though he's aware he's built out of mechanics. What.

But yeah, for those of you who just thought he had a name, or even wondered why an expendable prototype android had a name at all, it's not just a name - it's an acronym for his model type. I'm sure there are other A.N.T.O.I.N.E. types out there, but as each fully-operational android is highly expensive for B.L.U. to manufacture, there aren't hundreds of these things running around everywhere.
