Japanese logic

I think this picture is pretty self explanatory.

I don't hate the Demashita! PPGZ show, but I do loathe the character designs. They're simply ghastly. They could have done better. All the villains look like a joke and the PPG themselves look like every other rape-able Japanese magic girls. Bleck.

And Him's design is appalling. It's comedic, not scary. It's funny, not evil. It's a big joke. Boo. He looks like a Him and NiGHTS lovechild. It's icky.

Long live the original characters and all their personalities~
