A scene from an idea for a story I had.

Vlad always said Joker was his 'vessel.' It would only make sense that Vlad can manipulate his mind into doing his bidding. His soul and will are strong even when leeching off another. He's not fully dead, because as he himself stated, immolation by sunlight is an almost permanent death. His plan would be to force Joker to resurrect him; since Joker hardly questions the voices in his head, he wouldn't care why he was doing this.

However, Vlad figures he can hit two birds with one stone and resurrect his love while he's at it. And for that, he'd need a temporary body for her soul to live in until a proper life force can be stolen for her.

Through all this, Ragdoll's in a predicament, and unfortunately Joker holds the key to the solution he needs. Joker won't give it up without an argument. Ragdoll thought he tricked Joker into handing it over, but to his horror discovered that Joker used his own trick against him. Now, Ragdoll has no choice but to do as Joker says, remaining a blackmailed prisoner to Joker/Vlad's will.
